Peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family at Maison Vale Hospice on Friday, March 28, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Régina (Hotte) Bélanger. Beloved husband of 30 years to Henriette (Gauthier) Bélanger. Predeceased by the mother of his children Alphonsine (Robillard) Bélanger. Loving father of André (Evelyn), Pierrette Bélanger (Michel Forget) and Marc. Step-father of Denis Boucher (Jackie), Robert Boucher (Anne), Richard Boucher (Tamara) and Lynn Dempsey (Lawrence). Cherished grandfather of Allain (Claudette), Joanne (Joël), Denis (Julie), Daniel (Josée), Derek (Carole), Melissa, Chanda, Shawn, Éric, Mathieu, Paris, Danika, Keith, Bruce and Barry. Great-grandfather of Alexis, Danica, Stéphanie, Abby, Allysa, Sheldon, Zak, Joël and Chloé. Dear brother of Monique Despatie (late Wilfred), Aline Schubert (Al) and Cyril (Georgette). Predeceased by his siblings Aurèle, Valmore, Albert, Réginal, Edgar and Dorothé Laurin. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive relative and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Sunday, March 30th, 2014 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian to be celebrated on Monday, March 31st, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Paroisse Ste-Agnès, Azilda.
