Barber, James (Jim) William; It is with heavy hearts that we announce that on April 3, 2014, Jim passed away at the Grand River Hospital at the age of 74 years. Born January 16, 1940 in Pembroke, ON to the late Valada and P.J. Mulligan. Jim is survived by his two daughters, Brenda (Todd) and Rhonda (Angelo), his grandchildren Gabriel, Sebastian, Caitlyn, Angela, and Max, great granddaughters Arianna and Sabrina. Jim is fondly remembered by his friend and former wife Betty Barber. Survived by six siblings, Judy (Jay), Joan (John), Danny (Ann), Kelly (Kathy), Barbara, Billy (Laurie) and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was known for his easy going manner and never saying no to a good drink with good friends. Jim’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. on Sunday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014 in the funeral home chapel followed immediately by a reception at the funeral home. Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre (GRRCC) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
