McKeever, Donald – With heavy hearts the family announces the death of Mr Donald McKeever of Temagami at the age of 66 years. Mr McKeever passed away peacefully at the Temiskaming Hospital in New Liskeard on September 8th, 2014. Mr McKeever was born February 14th, 1948 at North Bay to the late David McKeever and to the late Helen McKenzie. Donald was a truck driver for most of his life. He will be remembered as an outdoors enthusiast who loved to hunt, fish, camp and riding his 4 wheeler, but most importantly he will be remembered as a man with a great sense of humor. He will be missed by his friends at the Temagami Shell morning coffee club as well as his loving fury companion Ruby. Predeceased by his parents, Donald is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Kim [nee Hunt]; loving father of Quelia [Patrick] Cormier, Hayley [Alec] Morrison, Cale [Angela] McKeever, James [Tami] McKeever, Jason [Kelli] McKeever and Jennifer [Dave] Bennett. Cherished grandfather to eleven (and one on the way) grandchildren and one great-grandchild; loving brother of Colin [Debbie] McKeever and Darcy McKeever. A celebration of Donald’s life will be announced tomorrow on this site. Memorial contributions to the Kidney Foundation or to the Community Cancer Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
