Bregg, Agnes Elsie (nee Burrell) Agnes died peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Mackenzie Health Long Term Care in Richmond Hill. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Harry Bregg. Much loved mother of Virginia Lee. Agnes, born December 8, 1923 was the youngest daughter of the late George William Burrell and Margaret Whincup Burrell. Predeceased by her siblings: George, Margaret, Dorothy, Charles, Reginald, Gordon, and Audrey. Remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews. BRAYLEY, William “Bill” March 7, 1935 – June 19, 2015 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Bill Brayley at the Victoria Hospital June 19, 2015 at the age of 80 years. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his sister Barbara (Lloyd) Sather of Macdowall, SK and the following nieces and nephews: special niece Gladys Brayley (Dave Elles) of Rural Prince Albert, SK; Marilyn Johnstone (Glen Blize); Adam (Brenda) Johnstone; Gordon (Bonnie) Johnstone; Tom (Sharon) Johnstone; Robert (Ruby) Johnstone; Kelly (Doug) Swyripa; Scott (Eleanor Harper) Johnstone; all of Lloydminster, Clayton (Mel) Schmale of Turtleford, SK; Barb Schmale-Bernard of Windsor, ON; Brenda (Rob) Cunnington of Sexsmith, AB, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews. Bill will also be lovingly missed by a four legged buddy-Darby. He was predeceased by his father Jim in 1942; his mother Mary in 1996; sisters: Leona “Toots” Johnstone and Ann Schmale both in 2001; nieces: Pat Blize in 2009 and Dorothy Johnstone in 2013; nephews Max Johnstone in 1978 and Kevin Schmale in 2014; brothers-in-law Andy Johnstone in 1984 and Vern Schmale in 1993. Bill spent all of his life in the Deer Park, Macdowall and Prince Albert area. He was a very quiet, sincere man and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Bills life will be held Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 2:30 pm at Grays Funeral Chapel- 575-28 Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Sherry Ouellette as celebrant. Suzanne Lagacé-Day (née VanVolsem) 1924-2015 Born in Brussels, Belgium in 1924, Suzanne passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, surrounded by her family. Suzanne is survived by her daughters Denise Lagacé and Viviane Lagacé-Romeike and their partner and husband, Don Gill and Harvey Romeike. Also surviving Suzanne are the members of her extended family: Vern and Janice, their children Scott and Sara and Chris and Serena and their son Hugo. Suzanne was pre-deceased by husbands Jean Lagacé and Alfred (Ginger) Day. She immigrated to Canada after the Second World War, initially living in Montreal where she enjoyed a successful Ballroom Dancing and television career. Moving to Toronto in 1975, she joined Berlitz as a French tutor and married Ginger. They travelled widely in North and South America and Europe. They joined the vibrant retirement community of Taylor Place in 1991 and enjoyed many happy years playing Bridge, Mahjong, singing, socialising and making new friends. Suzanne had a vibrant personality and was extremely proud of her two daughters who have lovingly cared for her since Ginger’s passing.
